Safety Precautions for Swine Flu and other forms of Flu

Norfolk Public Schools is monitoring the local and state health departments’ reports on Swine Flu. Here are a few safety tips on preventing the spread of swine flu or other forms of flu:

Wash hands often for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water is not available.
Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze and always use a tissue. Wash your hands after tissue use.
Stay at least 3 feet away from others if you’re coughing and sneezing.

NASA Brings Robotics to Chesterfield Academy

NASA Brings Robotics to Chesterfield Academy Instructors from NASA visited the students at Chesterfield Academy to teach them about robotics. Students learned how to operate robots and the many tasks robots are capable of performing.
