On Monday, Feb. 27, the Harlem Globetrotter's "Hammer" Harrison, the dunking sensation from Hampton University and Globetrotter Rookie "Tiny" Sturgess, Guinness World Record Holder as the tallest professional basketball player at 7’8”, will visit Ruffner Academy and Richard Bowling Elementary School.
On Monday, both players will be stopping by Ruffner Academy beginning at 8:45 a.m. and then Richard Bowling Elementary School at 3 p.m. to share their "CHEER" program with students, parents and teachers. The Harlem Globetrotters will be in Norfolk on March 3 and March 4 at the Constant Center.
