Norfolk Public Schools track athletes showed their spirit and skills on Thursday, May 10 at the first-annual Norfolk-Portsmouth Middle School Track Meet. The meet was held at Portsmouth's Wilson High School.
Blair Middle School's boys won the overall meet, while Craddock's girls from Portsmouth prevailed overall.
Of the 10 individual events each for girls and boys, NPS girls won six, and NPS boys won four.
"It was a good first-time event for all involved," said Mr. Stephen Suttmiller, NPS' Senior Coordinator for Athletics.
