Jager Parks, an 8^th grader, received first place in the national Earth Day Photo and Essay Contest sponsored by the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies. His entry entitled, "Shades of Red and Orange" was the cover feature of the annual IGES book. He received a digital camera, a digital photo frame and a digital photo keychain.
