Congratulations to Granby High School for designation as a new chapter in the National Business Honor Society. This effort was spearheaded by Granby teacher Kim Jordan who worked to attain this opportunity for the school. This honor society is a division of the National Business Education Association, and to qualify for membership, a student must be a high school junior or senior and have completed or be currently enrolled in a business course. A student must also have a minimum standard GPA in business courses of an average of 3.5 and an overall average of 3.0.
Granby has 24 Career and Technical Education students who qualify for this distinction, and is one of 12 high schools in the state of Virginia and the first in the Tidewater Region to have this honor.
