Christopher is a seventh grader at Blair Middle School in Norfolk, Virginia. He is an active volunteer in the community, along with his four brothers and sisters. He volunteers at the Park Place Methodist Church soup kitchen on Monday nights, and this year spent part of Thanksgiving day serving dinner to the homeless of the community. Christopher helps with the annual Blair Middle School yard sale, and is always looking for ways to help at his church. Christopher also frequently volunteers at Sewells Point Elementary School, his sisters’ elementary school, where he also attended, setting up for programs. His mother tells me that he has a heart for helping others, and is always looking for ways to be of assistance to his neighbors.
